Anna Patterson Obituary

Anna Lois Patterson, 88, beloved wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend to many went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 after a long struggle with cancer surrounded by her family. Anna Lois was born on February 3, 1930 in Arkansas and grew up in Raymondville, Texas. She later married Hughie Dean “Pat” Patterson Sr. of Texarkana. They lived in Dallas for over 30 years before moving to Wills Point in 1990 and they celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Anna Lois was loved by many and loved her “Big Family”. Her quick wit and humor could brighten anyone’s day which she did often. Her talent for electronics, cooking, arts & crafts, painting, drawing and crocheting was amazing and there was nothing she could not do or figure out.

Anna Lois was proud of her family and was a great teacher and taught her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren valuable lessons in life. Always there to help her family or strangers and will always and forever be remembered for her great sense of fashion, laughter, humor, smile, heart and most of all for the love and pride she felt for her family. She was a strong woman and the “rock” of her family that will be deeply missed.

Anna Lois Patterson leaves a legacy behind and is survived by her husband Hughie Dean “Pat” Patterson Sr. of Wills Point, daughters Glenda & Ronnie Lappe of Carrollton, Debbie Patterson Gailey of McKinney, Fifi Patterson of Austin, son Hughie Dean Patterson Jr. & wife Tammy of Wills Point, daughter Anna & Donnie Riddle of Alba, sister Peggy Sue Dobson of Sunnyvale, 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, 3 special angels in heaven, In-Laws, many nieces, nephews and friends.
