Amy Marie (Robbins) Newby

Amy Marie Newby of Caddo Mills, TX, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the age of 57.

Amy was born to parents Kennith Dean Robbins and Patricia Ann (Story) Dawson on January 20, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa.  She moved to Wylie, TX and attended Wylie Schools.

Amy married Richie Andrew Newby on January 18, 1980.

Amy is survived by her husband Richie; one son Ricky of Greenville, TX;, two daughters, Takisha and husband Kevin Turner of Quinlan; Amber Newby; and Tony Bailey of Caddo Mills; one brother, Ronnie Robbins of Como, TX; two sisters: Cindy and Spencer Gibson of Greenville, TX; and sister Teri Robbins of Como, TX; fifteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Amy was a homemaker and a 24-hour Nana.  She loved to read, and would read anything, she also loved spending time with her Grandkids and Great Grandkids.  She would help anyone who needed help and she would give you her list dime if you needed it.  She was a New York Giants football fan.

Amy (Nana) was a wonderful person with lots of love to give, she was always there for everyone she cared about.  She taught us what love was and how to live life to the fullest!

Nana, With the gift of years comes the treasure of knowing that there are many who love you dearly.  For where the roots grow, deep memories grow forever.
