William Edwards

William Robert Edwards, age 85 of Greenville, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024.

William Edwards was born on April 17, 1938, in Clyde, Texas in Callahan County. He was the son of the late Mr. Singleton Erasmus Edwards Sr. and Josie G. Marrison Edwards. He attended Clyde High school. He married Miss Mary Elizabeth Roach on August 23, 1958, in Abilene, Texas. He was a Jehovah Witness by faith and attended Kingdom Ministry School. Bob loved people and teaching others about Gods word. He spent many hours in the endeavor of bringing others to Jehovah. Matthew 24:14 says, "The good news of the Kingdom must be preached.". He touched many lives from coast to coast. He was a loving husband, daddy, pa, and friend. He lived life to the fullest. His children said he is the coolest dad. He will be very missed.

He is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his devoted wife of 65 years, Mary Edwards of Greenville; son, Robert Douglas Edwards; daughter, Julie Danice Edwards Vick, and husband Tom. Grandchildren, Cortni Paige Lollar and Ryan Tyler Edward; great grandchildren, Abigail Paige Lollar and Hudson David Lollar.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bo and two sister, Hope and Sweetie.
