Thomas Allen Bomar, 42, of Point went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 11, 2016 at his residence. Funeral Services celebrating Thomas’ life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Miracle Faith Baptist Church in Emory with Rev. Robert Burns officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.

Thomas was born June 8, 1974 in Eastland, Texas. He is the son of Lauretta Walters Bomar and the late Robert Bomar Sr. He was raised in Putnam, Texas and went to school in Baird and Cross Plains. After graduation he attended McMurry Methodist College. On April 10, 1998 he married the former Miss Heather Langley and they made their home in Cross Plains where he worked on a dairy farm. In 2003 they moved to Brownwood before moving to Point in 2006. Later he worked as a supervisor for Dan Hill Containers. Thomas’ biggest enjoyment came from being involved with all aspects of his son’s lives such as coaching soccer, baseball, football and being a Boy Scout leader. He was a member of Miracle Faith Baptist Church where he sang in the church choir and was a youth director. He was also a member of the Texas State Guards in Brownwood.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Heather; mother Lauretta Bomar & her companion Roy Wadford of West Tawakoni; sons Stetson Bomar, Anthony Bomar and Tristan Bomar all of Point; brother Bobby Bomar & wife Verna of West Tawakoni; sisters Anna Coe of Whitney and Samantha Beaty & husband James of Cross Plains.
