Rockwall resident, Tanya Lynnette Cartier was an exuberant, bubbly vessel of life - full of love, happy to share what she had and give to the needs and delight of family and friends alike. In fact, she made friends everywhere she went. She put 200 percent into whatever task she undertook, and went the extra mile just to please others. She was a giver.

Survived by her son, John (from Indiana), Tanya leaves behind two grandsons also: Matthew and William. She was dedicated to her boys and her deepest desire was to see her sons and grandchildren in heaven one day.

Tanya was preceded in death by her son, Jason, who passed away at age 33 from Cystic Fibrosis. Many long hours of devoted toil did she spend tending his needs at home, in doctors offices, and hospitals. What a happy reunion they must be having! Her other surviving family members include several siblings, nieces, great nieces, great nephews, and beloved in-laws.

A single parent for a time, Tanya executed diligent perseverance in support of her precious sons. She had worked in real estate, was an insurance adjuster, processed insurance claims, worked for the State of Pennsylvania Department of Welfare, and had recently earned a certificate in hair removal and laser technology. Tanya had a beautiful singing voice and was an excellent cook! In fact, she worked at one time, for renowned chef David Wade

One of her family’s favorite memories are of her holiday specialties: million dollar pie and chocolate sheath cake. Residents at her assisted living apartment building were especially fond of her chicken spaghetti and remember her contagious smile.

She was full of faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and will be missed here on this earth.
