Rose “Dodie” Marie Hudson Robertson, 55, of Terrell went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services celebrating Dodie’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Judge Hershey Barnett officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Hart Cemetery in Cash.

Dodie was born on July 27, 1961 in Dallas, Texas. She is the daughter of the late James Abner Hudson and Josephine Lillian Barkheimer Hudson. She was raised and educated in Dallas. She married David Robertson on February 2, 1979 and they made their home in Quinlan before moving to McKinney in 1999. In 2009 they returned to Quinlan. She is also preceded in death by her husband on January 3, 2014, her daughter Sindy Robertson on April 3, 2013 and her sister Rita Manson. After her husband’s death she moved to Kaufman to live with her other daughter. She enjoyed playing casino slots on her cell phone and watching Elvis shows. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids.

She is loved and will be missed by her daughter Mindy Thornburg and husband Bob of Kaufman; son Samuel Robertson and wife Holly of Dallas; brother James Allen Hudson and wife Janice of Houston; grandchildren Brian Phongswan, Matthew Robertson, Lacie Robertson and Shelly Thornburg; great-grandson Junior Robertson.
