Robert Lee Goodwin Jr., 74, of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 6, 2017 in McKinney. Memorial services celebrating Robert’s life will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Ingram Funeral Home with Marshall Jarvis officiating.

Robert was born on February 19, 1942 in Frisco, Texas. He is the son of the late Robert “Buff” Lee Goodwin Sr. and L.V. Harris Goodwin. He was raised and educated in the Quinlan and Lone Oak areas. Robert married Juanita Vickers on June 25, 1961 and they made their home in Greenville, before moving to Quinlan 3 years ago. He owned and operated Discount Paint & Body in Greenville for over 30 years. He was a member of Revlon Baptist Church in Greenville. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Michael Puryear on December 3, 1991. He enjoyed Hunting, fishing and dirt track racing. He was a fan of Nascar and the Dallas Cowboy’s.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Juanita Goodwin; son Robert Goodwin and wife Lisa of Wolfe City; daughter Sherry Clonch and husband Tim of Quinlan; 7 grandchildren Justin, Jasen, Brianna, Amanda, Caleb, Colton and Cade; 8 great-grandchildren Alex, Hagen, Aiden, Raylon, Mike, Alli, Lane and Evie; brothers Earl Goodwin and wife Donna of Italy, Joe Goodwin and wife Dana of Royse City; sister Louise Sadler of Caddo Mills.
