Rita Kay Malone 62 of Quinlan went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, October 1, 2016 in Dallas. Graveside services celebrating Rita’s life will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Long Creek Cemetery in Sunnyvale with her nephew, Pastor Kevin Wells officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.

James Jackson, Alan Elliott, Alvin Elliott, Marvin Elliott, Jason Anthony and Ty Elliott will serve as pallbearers.

Rita was born March 14, 1954 in Dallas, Texas. She is the daughter of Edward Goines and Vivian Maxine Lewis Irvin. She was raised and educated in the Pleasant Grove area. She married Michael Joe Malone April 4, 1978 and they made their home in the Garland area before moving to Quinlan 35 years ago.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Lynn Goines. Rita was a homemaker. She also enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Survivors on TV and she was an avid Jimmy Johnson NASCAR fan.

She is loved and will be missed by her husband Michael of Quinlan. Mom, Vivian Maxine Irvin of Garland. Dad, Edward Goines of Quinlan. Brother. Dale Goines & wife Cathy of Dallas.
