Rex Lee Crowder, Jr. 56 of Lone Oak went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 8, 2016.  Funeral services celebrating Rex’s life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Zachary Honzell officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M and continue until service time.

Rex was born October 21. 1959 in Elkhart, Indiana.  He is the son of Rex Lee Crowder, Sr. and Martha Felter Crowder.  Rex was the son of a military father and was raised and educated in many different areas, graduating from Longview High School.  After high school he joined the United States Navy and honorably served our country.  After his discharge he returned to Longview and later moved to Jacksonville, Arkansas where he met the love of his life, Tressia Blankenship, and they moved to the Lake Tawakoni community and were married on June 13, 1993.  Rex worked many years in retail management and later he became a delivery truck driver for Lowe’s in Greenville where he was currently employed.  In his spare time, Rex enjoyed fishing, art painting, woodworking, and was a big Elvis fan, but most of all he loved his dogs.  Rex is preceded in death by two brothers Terry Crowder and Ricki Crowder.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Tressia; mother Martha Crowder of Longview, Texas; father Rex Crowder, Sr. and stepmother Judy of Arnold, Missouri; daughters Tina Brown and fiancé Robbie Robison of Point, Texas and Shannon Wigington of Lone Oak; brothers Gary Crowder of Jefferson, Missouri and John Crowder of Arnold, Missouri; sister Mary Crowder of Lawrenceville, Georgia; three grandchildren Tina, Robert and Casey; two great-grandchildren William and Sophia.
