Melba “Joyce” McLerran Smyth, 76, of Point went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Greenville. Graveside services celebrating Joyce’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at City of Eden Cemetery in Eden with Carroll Stepp officiating under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.

Joyce was born on December 30, 1939 in Brady, Texas. She is the daughter of the late E.O. McLerran and Margaret Evelyn Willis McLerran. She was raised in Voca but attended school in Brady. She has lived in many places including Burnett, California and Wyoming before returning to Eden. She moved to the Lake Tawakoni Community since 2006. She has worked as a secretary in many places and the last 10 years in a tax office. She enjoyed gardening and loved to shop.

She is loved and will be missed by her brother Mark McLerran and wife Rebecca of Childress; niece Tabitha McLerran of San Angelo and nephew Adam McLerran of Childress.
