Margrette Evelyn Fouse 83 of Rockwall went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday December 14, 2016 in Lufkin. Funeral services celebrating Margrette’s life will be held at 12 Noon Saturday December 17, 2016 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Pastor Les Joslin officiating, burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Pallbearers will be Robert Boren, Dallas Fouse, Timothy Fouse, Gregory Fouse, Charles Alaniz and Gabe Guzman.

Margrette was born March 18, 1933 in Greenville. She is the daughter of the late Melvin Vernon Tanton Sr. and Zora Hilburn Tanton. She married Mr. Virgil Hugh Fouse on July 4, 1953 in Greenville and they moved to make their home on their farm in Rockwall in 1960. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Dawn Fouse, Granddaughter, Luisa Sofia Fouse, Siblings, Wayne, Jerry Ray, Billy Eugene and Ruth. Margrette was skilled in all facets of knitting, crocheting, needlework and was an excellent seamstress. She spent countless hours making intricate crocheted and beaded period costumes for dolls so that each granddaughter would receive one each year. Margrette was known for her expertise in crocheting and cross stitch. She was faithful to her church and church family, but her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved to prepare large meals for her family at every holiday and looked forward to spending time with her family whenever she could.  She will be dearly missed by all of her family, friends and church family.

She is loved and will be missed by her loving husband of 63 years Virgil. Sons, Dru Fouse & wife Wanda of Quinlan, Alan Fouse & wife Sandra of Rockwall and Steve Fouse & wife Deanna of Rowlett. Daughter, Marcie Boren & husband Gerry of Diboll. Grandchildren, Dawn, Gregory, Timothy, Robert, Dallas, Ashley, Laurel, Tiffany and Ariel. Nine Great-Grandchildren.
