Lester “Jan” John Miller Jr., 76, of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 14, 2017 in Quinlan. Memorial services celebrating Lester’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Ingram Funeral Home with Judge Hershey Barnett officiating.

Lester was born on August 2, 1940 in Dallas. He is the son of the late Lester Miller Sr. and Estelle Lindbergh Miller. He was raised and educated in Dallas. As an adult he went to work for the United States Post Office in Dallas as a mail deliverer, then a clerk before becoming a union member supervisor for the post office. He retired in 1992 after 30 years of service. He married Aline Miller on July 16, 2005 and they made their home in the Lake Tawakoni Community. Lester and Aline owned and operated ‘Kinfolks’ concession stand for many years. They enjoyed going to Canton each month and playing in the band there with their kinfolks. Lester enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, gardening, woodworking, building bird houses, making musical CD’s and going each year on a cruise.

He is loved and will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
