Juanita Mae Osborne Lander, 90, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 14, 2018 in Terrell. Funeral services celebrating Juanita’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Ratliff officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Rockwall. Visitation will be Wednesday January 17 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Pallbearers:  Paul Smith, Joseph Smith, Jason Smith, Dakota Schaffer, Mark Smith, Jeff Smith.

Juanita was born on December 12, 1927 in Cross Roads, Texas. She is the daughter of the late Willie Andrew Osborne and Mamie Mae Rawls Osborne. In the Fall of 1977 she married Hilbert Lander.  Juanita was employed by Rockwell Industries where she worked as a quality control inspector.  After her retirement from Rockwell Industries, she worked part time selling swimming pools at Crossroads Mall in Greenville.  Juanita enjoyed life.  She served in her church as a part time teacher, used her hands and talents to sew quilts, grow a vegetable garden then labored to can the vegetables she grew.  She also loved to decorate and always wanted to have a pretty flower garden.  Juanita loved her family and always looked forward to family get togethers and spending time together during the holidays.  She is preceded in death by her parents and son Billy Smith.

Juanita is loved and will be missed by her husband of 40 years Hilbert; sons Kenneth Smith and wife Alta of Caddo Mills, Ricky Smith and wife Debbie Smith of Calera; sister Annie Nell Robbin and husband O.A. of Union, Mississippi; Nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
