Johnny Clay Blevins 56 of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, June 14, 2012. Funeral services celebrating Johnny’s life will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 22, 2012 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Pastor Ronnie Nalls officiating.

Johnny was born June 5, 1956 in Dallas, Texas. He was raised and attended school in Canton. After graduating from Canton High School in 1974, he entered the United States Navy. He married the former Miss Jody Mitchell on August 27, 2010 and they made their home in Quinlan. Johnny worked 17 years for Extruders, Inc in Wylie before going to work for Old Castle Glass in Terrell where he had also worked for 17 years. The last 2 months he was employed by Ascend, Inc in Wylie. Johnny loved riding his motorcycle; he was involved with many motorcycle benefits over the years with different organizations. He also enjoyed going fishing when he had a chance. Johnny was preceded in death by his mother, Pat Adams and his step-mother Lou Blevins, his son John "Chad" Blevins in 2004 and by two sisters, Tonya Eden and Linda Williams.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Jody of Quinlan; father Harold Blevins of Canton; son, Russell Blevins & his wife Heather of Ft. Hood; daughters, Ashley Fultz & fiancé Jason Hargrove of Copeville, Johnnie Rae Blevins & fiancé Jason Warner of Brashear; step-daughters, Lacy Chism & husband Randy of Quinlan, Tiffany Simmons & fiancé Andrew Gillum of Rockwall; grandchildren, Ivie, Nicoli, Drey, Dharma, Taylor, Chase, Chandler, Carter, Scotty, Dustin and Lenora; brothers, David Blevins of Mesquite, Timmy Taber of Missouri, Randy Palmer &wife Gloria of Waxahachie; sisters, Gwen Hensley & husband Robby and Marie Sartin & husband Steve all of Missouri, Pam Hicks & husband James of Tyler.
