Jeneice Faye Phillips, 57 of Chandler, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 5, 2017 in Tyler.  A Memorial service celebrating Jeneice’s life will be held at 5:00 pm. on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Power and Praise Church, Flint, Texas with Pastor Wade Eitel officiating.

Jeneice was born August 13, 1959 in Walden, Arkansas. She is the daughter of Clyde Johnson and the late Wanda Laney Johnson Barnes.  He was raised and educated in Cold Springs, Texas. On October 12, 2005, she married John Phillips and they made their home in Chandler.  Jeneice loved flowers and enjoyed working in her yard and planting flowers.  She also loved her three dogs, Betsy, Queenie, and Jethro.  Jeneice worked as a certified nurse’s assistance until 2010 when health no longer allowed her to work.  She is preceded in death by her mother, brother Charlie Johnson, and sister Paula Johnson.

She is loved and will be missed by her husband John; father Clyde Johnson of Gowan, Oklahoma, daughter Shanna Rodriquez and husband Chris of Waco, Texas; sons Patrick Johnson of Bryan, Texas; John Phillips, III of Lindale, Texas; grandsons Seth and Jaybird of Waco, Texas; brothers Chuck Johnson of Gowan, Oklahoma, and Ernest Johnson of Erik, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
