James “Jim” Stephen Gould, 52, of Wills Point went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 10, 2016 at his home. Memorial services celebrating Jim’s life will be held 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Emmanuel Baptist Church of Terrell with Brother Billy Martin will be officiating.

Jim was born on November 19, 1963 in Queens Borough, New York. He is the son of the late Florence Lanza Gould and James J. Gould. He was raised and educated in Queens, New York and Middletown, New Jersey. He served as a Police officer in North Central Florida for many years. He moved to Texas in 2003. He married the former Ms. Tonia M. Aslin on June 18, 2004 in Terrell. They made their home in Wills Point since 2013. He is also preceded in death by  his father-in-law Glynn Aslin. He loved animals and worked hard for the rescue, education and safety of all animals.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Tonia Gould of Wills Point; sons Jozef Gould and Matthew Gould of Lake City, Florida; grandchildren Skyler, Abby and Hunter; father James J. Gould of New Jersey; 3 sisters Diane, Janet and Susan of New Jersey; mother-in-law Sharon Aslin of Kaufman; and fur babies Bambi, Bennie, PeeWee and Hondo.
