I knew Jimmy through his "other" job that he truly loved - music.  I met him at the Balcony Club in Lakewood.  We enjoyed his music there many times both when he had a group, played in a group and played alone.  I still believe that if "Straight 8 Buick" was recorded by the right country artist, it would be a surefire hit single.  What a great song!  I came across my Sinful Tunes CD that we purchased at his CD release party in Lakewood ten years ago, and decided to see if I could find out how he was after all that occurred in 2011.  I discovered through Google that Jimmy had passed away this past summer.  I do not know what may have occurred, but we are so sorry to learn of his death.
