Charles “Ray” Jones, 58, of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 20, 2016. Memorial services celebrating Ray's life will be held under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Higher Ground Cowboy Church in Quinlan with Brother Kelvin Prock officiating.

Ray was born on November 22, 1957 in Terrell, Texas. He is the son of the late Naomi “Mickey” Wester Jones and Douglas Jones of Terrell, Texas. He was also preceded in death by a son Brandon and daughter Amber. He was a wonderful provider, caring friend and the world’s best Pawpaw. He had been a professional mechanic and was currently a commercial truck driver for Bennett Transportation.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Donna Jones of Quinlan; sons Kevin Jones of Quinlan; Brent Phillips of Denver, Co; daughters Cassie Patton and husband Keith of Emory and Michelle Keane of Plano; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers Mike Jones and wife Kathy of Royse City, Pat Jones and wife Linda of Winnsboro and several nieces, nephews and friends. He will especially be missed by his dogs Molly and Jackson.
