Carolyn Ann Starkey, 58, of Alba went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 1, 2017 in Tyler. Memorial services celebrating Carolyn’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.

Carolyn was born on November 22, 1959 in Dallas, Texas. She is daughter of Muriel Kammerdener Starkey and the late Raymond J. Starkey. She was raised and educated in Caddo Mills. She loved animals and worked at a pet grooming facility while in High School. Carolyn always had horses while growing up and performed in local rodeos and won many ribbons for barrel racing. She had a passion for fast cars and burned up the roads with her blue hot-rod. She enjoyed fishing, riding horses and motorcycles. She loved to travel and spend time just ‘hanging’ with family and friends. Her dog Bebe was very dear to her.

She is loved and will be missed by her mother Muriel Starkey of Missouri; sons Douglas Bird of Quinlan, Benny Bird and wife Jessica of Quinlan; daughters Erica Bird of Quinlan, Jennifer Bird of Quinlan; sisters Marion Roth of Missouri, Eileen Lane of Tennessee, JoAnne Sieber of Texas; 12 grandchildren and her best friend, boyfriend & buddy Bobby Dale Clark.
