Carl Parkey 67 of Dallas went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Funeral services celebrating Carl’s life will be held with military honors at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery in Wills Point.

Carl was born June 25, 1945 in Dennison, Texas where he was raised and attended school. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1964, serving during the Vietnam Era. On July 29, 2001, he married the former Linda Butler and they made their home in Dallas. Carl worked as an installer for Merchco in Dallas. He enjoyed watching TV, traveling, working on his vehicles, fishing, and playing with his grandchildren. Carl is preceded in death by his mother Frances Parkey and brother, Paul Parkey.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Linda; father Carl E. Parkey of Dallas; daughters Samantha Parker and husband Danny of Midlothian, Erica Parkey and husband Robert of Duncanville; sons Timothy Cossey and wife Diane of Ft. Worth, Mike Webb and wife Dawn of San Angelo; grandchildren Amanda Matthews, Brittney Hagan, Tiffany Cossey, Timmy Cossey, Scotty Cossey, Cody Cossey, Virgil Cossey, Kenderic Cossey, Jon Garcia, Jade Jimenez, Carlie Webb; great-grandchildren Kali Matthews, Kynli Matthews, Angel Diaz, Damon Diaz, Honey Cossey; sisters Beverly Parkey of Dallas, Regina Jurik and husband James of Palmer, Karen Manley and husband Evan of Balch Springs.
