Mrs. Betty Rose Puckett 79 of Quinlan went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday July 21, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services celebrating Betty’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday July 25, 2017 at Lakeview Church with Pastor Adam Williams officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Ingram Funeral Home.

Betty was born November 3, 1937 in Cooper, Texas. She is the daughter of the late Willard Luther Watkins and Ondie Smith Watkins. She was raised and educated in Dallas. She married Mr. Bobby Puckett in 1973 and they made their home in the Dallas area where she worked as a secretary for the special education department of the Dallas Independent School District for 35 years, retiring in 1999. They moved to the Lake Tawakoni community after her retirement and he preceded her in death on September 11, 2011, she was also preceded by her son Danny Brian Henery on April 20, 2011. She was a longtime member of the Lakeview Church where she was a former board member, loved helping with kitchen duties and cleaning of the church. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and watching the Dallas Cowboys when they were winning.

She is loved and will be missed by her son, John Henery III & wife Julie of Quinlan. Daughters, Tonya Henery of Quinlan and Kelly McCallum & husband Chris of Mesquite. 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren. Brother, Bobby Earl Watkins & wife Linda of Lindale, Texas.
