Beatrice Edith Garrett Robinson, 91, of Wills Point went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Carrolton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan. Interment will be immediately following at McBride Cemetery in Hawk Cove. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 19, 2018.
Serving as pallbearers Michael Seabolt, Stephen Klutts, Jay Shallow, Scott Moore and Aaron Robinson.
Beatrice was born on February 18, 1927 in Quinlan, Texas. She is the daughter of the late Kirtsy Garrett and Cora Howard Garrett. She was raised and educated in Quinlan when it was called “Stringtown.” She grew up farming with her family. Beatrice met and married Seth “Rex” Robinson in February of 1946. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Seth Robinson, brothers Matt Garrett, Holton Garrett, Johnny Garrett
She worked as a housewife while raising her three children. She was an avid church goer and Sunday school teacher. She was always willing to help anyone in need and especially with food. She loved quilting and made some very beautiful quilts that she sold and others she gave away. Music and dancing brought her much joy and she even played the guitar and harmonica. Painting, gardening and writing poetry were also things that she enjoyed doing. She was a plain and simple woman who loved cats and her family.
She is loved and will be missed by her children Rita Klutts, Pat Williams and Loy Robinson; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
